Please tell us about your Dorkings. I've heard lots of great things about them, but cannot find many owners. I would love to find some rosecomb dorkings myself.
Everyone says that muscovy eggs are some of the hardest to hatch in the incubator. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to recommend to a newbie? Has anyone ever tried incubating them like a goose egg? Would taking them out and letting them cool help out at all?

I'm a newbie from the Michigan Thumb. I grew up on a farm not far from my current home. We raised meat birds and laying hens for most of my childhood. My husband and I bought property and built a house a few years ago and it was always my intention to have chickens again...but...
