Two 10-12 week old Silver Laced Polish Pullets

I have 2 Silver Laced Polish Pullets I need to rehome. VERY human oriented. More like pets to me. I decided not to try to intergrade them into my existing flock because of the horror stories I have read. They are very sweet. I am selling them as pullets because that is what I bought them as...

Some possible new ideas fo introducing new chickens?

I have two Polish pullets that I will have to be introducing to my flock. I understand because of the head feathers they are a little harder to introduce. How do I know?

I don't homeschool full time. I am considering taking the plunge and doing it full time now that they are in the second and fourth grades. How do I know they are where they are supposed to be? How do I come up with an appropriate curriculum? I am just afraid that I will set them behind.

How difficult is it to introduce new chicks to a flock? In light of me accidentally receiving the Cochin(?) or Brahma(?) chicks they will be almost 3 weeks older than the EE I am getting. Or will they still be young enough it won't matter?

    Mucus and Blood

We got our 101 meat chickens yesterday. 6 are dead so far. They all seemed hyper and happy, eating and drinking.. The latest one to die I noticed a spot of blood a few inches behind it and it had a string of mucus coming out of it's mouth. We got these from Farm and Home who in turn got them...

    To seperate or not???

I am receiving my meat chicks here in a couple of weeks. I will be getting my egg laying chicks three weeks after that. Will I need to have a separate brooder for the newly arrived chicks, or will the meat chicks be o.k. with the new comers? I also have concerns with the older meat chicks...
