    We have some 5-6 week old chicks. Almost fully feathered and we are finally having some warme weather so I'm going to put them outside for the day. If they have access to bugs and grass should they also have access to grit?

    I got some 2 day old chicks on Sunday. Today I noticed one has goopy stuff on her eye and she having trouble opening it. Like human pink eye almost. I used a warm wet rag and gently wiped it clean. Is there anything I can put on it? Like an ointment or anything?
