A few years back, I started the chicken habit, and the people on this forum helped me a lot with starter ideas.
One of the ideas was a water supply for the chickens that was not susceptible for freezing weather.
I ended up with a *system* that worked but never figured that some day, everything...
I have a chicken watering system as shown in this thread:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/937220/share-your-inovative-ideas-here#post_14350776
The water supply in the outside container is always clear (filtered 24/7)
The water supply in the inside container is also clear,
but the bucket is...
I never had problems before.
The bag(s) of feed, were just sitting on the patio on a wooden board.
Lately I have found small holes eaten thru the bag,
and mice droppings inside the bag and around the bag.

I live in Taylorsville and am surprised how many people in Utah actually do keep chickens.
I say this due to the *regulations* I ran into ...
Yikes, two pages of things you can or can not do, and then have to pay for the privilege to do so.

I have three chicks left (one got killed by a dog ...)
Before they started laying, I did not have a nesting box ready.
They pooped at the...
A friend started me on this, and I decided to *dangit, do it* !
So after months of lurking on the net, I decided to make my own instead of buying a chicken abode.
Had a great time doing it with one of our 5 year old grand-sons *helping* me.
Pic of *about* what it looks like in the coop pictures...
I chose a triangular shape, because that is the easiest shape to make which is stable.
(No need for braces or trusses)
The raw materials are all stock size or stock length,
like 4 x 8 feet plywood and 10 foot long electrical conduit,
and cut into two pieces - no waste !
The floor size of the...
