    A resident hawk has discovered my bantams and guinea's which free range during the day. I've been lucky enough to have seen it before it got to them. Brazen little bugger. Has anyone tried one of those stupid plastic owls to deter them with any success?

    Soft comb on new broody

    Not sure if this is where I need to post this. I have a Duckwing Bantam that has decided she is broody. Since she has been setting (for about 6 days now) her comb has started falling to the side. What is up with that? Any opinions, or help? Do I even need to worry?
