I cant believe it. Just checked the incubator and the power has been out all night. I am at day 24 (ducks)
Temp has been down to 21 degrees. Now back on but really worried as they are so near to hatching. Any hope for them??
On day 28 and still no internal pip. Still moving and shaking every now and then but nothing more happening. I
Funny as I've waited for this day all month and my ducks still arn't here :-(
This waiting is nail biting.
I have posted in incubation and duck forum but have bee advised to post here.
I have two eggs at day 27 in the incubator. Dip down two days ago and today eggs are wriggling but I don't think they have internally piped yet.
Any advice would be great as I really don't want to loose these two...
I will try here as no replies in incubation section.
I am at day 27, dip down for two days but I don't think they have internally pipped. Lots of shadows/movement in the bottom of air cell. Getting worried a bit now as would have thought they would be pipping by now
I have two Mandarin eggs at day 26. Both have drawn down since yesterday so put them into lock down, but no internal pip yet. When should they internally pip?
I have read so much about incubating Mandarins and how difficult they are I have convinced myself it will all go wrong. Not loosing...
Any advice on incubating Mandarin duck eggs please? I hear they can be difficult!
I have some that I have just started in my incubator yesterday
Any tips would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Steve
