I cant believe it. Just checked the incubator and the power has been out all night. I am at day 24 (ducks)
Temp has been down to 21 degrees. Now back on but really worried as they are so near to hatching. Any hope for them??

I thought so. Cause eggs are 'embryonated'. + My duck walks away for a hour or two, and eggs are lost they warm in that time.. btw, im curious about mines too.
+ The most important days are the last two weeks.
Often birds make a walkouts more often at first, more lately sitting way more.

I'm assuming 21C. Yes, there's plenty of hope. People have suffered through power outtages for 24 hours and still had hatchers. Plus at 24 days your ducklings are giving off some body heat of their own. I can't say that the hatch rate will be as good as if you didn't have a power loss, but you should still see some hatchers. Keep us posted and good luck! Fingers crossed for you!

I have tested them in the warm water method and all moving thank god
