    27th day under the hens

SO! yesterday was day 26 and still nothing. I went out to check one last time before I clear out the nest and send my 2 ladies packing but the rain was coming down so badly I decided to wait til after work today. 6.5 week old mixed breed. Im thinking pullet because of the yellow on the comb but I fear its a cockeral because the wattles are pretty red. The comb and wattles are just slightly larger than another of the same mix... unlike the obvious roo in the 4th pic.

Hello all, hopefully this post is not too late. I have one of my hens that is ill. At first I thought she went broody but yesterday I realized different. Last night we found that she was covered in mites so I thought that could be it but today she has gotten much worse so I assume I can rule...
