Do you clip your ducks' nails?
My ducks are housed outside on rather soft ground, and it seems like their nails are not wearing down much. At what point do you trim? What's a good length? -

Hi all! I have 3 Pekin ducks. They are 8 weeks old. One of them lets out the occasional quack, and the other two still peep. Loudly, but def not a quack. They also do not make that low grumble mumble my mallard drake does. So what are the odds those two are girls?? -

Question about ducks and millet
I keep seeing millet on foods approved for ducks. How is it fed? Loose, like parakeet seed? On the stem? Won't millet just pass through undigested? Any benefits to it? I ask because I have parakeets and buy bulk spray millet. -

Hi all! As a relatively new (6 weeks) owner of ducks, I'm wondering what your thoughts are on making sure you have access to a duck saavy veterinarian. I see many many posts asking for advice on duck illness and injury, and often times folks can't afford or don't have access to proper vet...
