    OH NO! Do my chicks have mites? What do i do???

    This little guy is the worst, but a couple of my other chicks are starting to show thin spots now too! I'm assuming this is from mites (I've never had this problem with chickens before but I haven't raised many!) I figured if it is mites DE should do the trick... problem is I'm worried about...

    I know there are tons of posts on this and I've read through many of them and searched on the internet generally to read blogs etc. I'm still very confused. I have 2 RIR's that haven't started laying eggs yet but have full feathers and are getting quite large. I'm guesstimating about 2-3 months...

    Breeding question bantams w/ standard sized chickens?

    I've searched through google but just come across 'breed guides' and I'm just curious if you have a male bantam would he be able to breed with standard sized chickens? Or visa versa??? Thanks!
