    Mite Dusting

    Should I wait to put the mite stuff on my chickens till after my broody hatches her eggs? I don't see any but my easter eggers are molting again. And one is getting peeked a little. I am also thinking of deworming them as I am only getting one maybe 2 eggs a day.

    I have an egg that is peeping but has not piped yet. its been 27 hours. Should I continue to wait? I have to go to work but when I get back and it hasn't piped should I help?

    Broody Hen quit with eggs she was sitting on.

    yesturday evening my broody silkie decided she was done sitting on eggs. I now have 8 eggs all with wiggling chicks and no incubator.. I put them in a cooler with and a 60 watt light and some water in a small dish. is there anything else I should do?

    I feed my chicken the chicken feed you can get at the coop. Purina layer pellets. I have someone who is interested in buying eggs but she doesn't want soy in her diet. If a chicken eats soy will it make it so your eating soy if you eat their eggs?
