    Not sure on what breed this Roo is. We got the bargain special from Murray mcmurray, we know all the other Roos breeds but not this one. My closest guess is a RIR but my other 2 RIR are much more traditional in the copper orange coloring, not like this brown one. Any ideas?

    Do egg change colors on the counter?

    I have gotten my first eggs this week, I’m at a total of 5 in the last 3 days. They are all blue eggs but they seems to change from blue to green/blue the next day. It’s weird. It’s like the color is fading as they age on the counter.

    Playhouse to coop conversion?

    Breed comb colors?

    Do comb color vary by breed? Like let’s say an EE combs is a lighter red than let’s say a Wyandotte’s comb. I know all hens combs are supposed to be bright red when healthy and laying but are their slightly different tones to the red with certain breed?

    Dry looking combs?

    All my chickens combs look like this, dry, like they need some lotion, even their legs do. No other issues I’ve noticed. All 10 hens are 4 months old. We’re in Florida and normally have a humidity of 70% and it’s been very dry recently so Idk if that has something to do with it.

    Stoop- 10 weeks I can only assume this is an EE, wondering if it could be a whiting true blue (ordered some from McMurray on top of my ornamental layer) but more so wondering if it’s a roo or pullet? What do you all think? Also it’s so hard to photograph a black flighty bird hahahahaha
