I just got this chicken and I love her but I’m wondering what she is. I’m showing a pic of her beside my RIR and she is the same size as my Cochin roo. She’s also got some funky feet lol
So I recently caught a chick whom I named Ronnie. I don’t know what breed “it” is or sex. I had to clip it’s wings so it wouldn’t fly out of the brooder. Please let me know what y’all think. Also I am getting a Cochin chick around the same age to go with this one :)
So I raised the Swedish Blue and ended up giving him away to my grandmothers friend who had the land for them at the time. But now that I have the land and I was talking about getting some ducks, shr told my grandmother that she would let me bring “Roan” and his/her friend home who happens to be...
I’ve posted about onyx before but I thought I’d ask again to be sure that she is a female. She’s very sweet and affectionate unlike my known silkie cockerel. She has a very small comb and no waddles. Please tell me what you think! She’s 6 months now. Also when do silkies start laying? Thanks!
So my java recently started laying and has gone broody. My thought is either to let her try to hatch two eggs and hope that she will stop being broody once she has them or to try and break her from it. She barely gets up out of the nest. Thanks in advance
So I have two java pullets. They are 26 weeks old and I was wondering when they’ll start laying. Also what color eggs do they lay?
Here’s a picture of Cookies.. cream is camera shy and runs when she sees my phone lol
I posted a while back about her and was told pullet but to update the pictures later on. So I introduce everyone to Onyx!
She sits on my bantams eggs after she lays them so my guess is pullet but idk if silkie cockerels do that as well?
I am looking for a peafowl pair, I’d like for them to be friendly. I don’t care about colors or anything like that. I just want to expand my farm :)
I’m located very close to Charlotte, NC area. Thank you!
So my old English bantam started laying. She’s the only bantam other than roosters and she is laying blue eggs.. I’ve looked it up and I can’t find anything on it. What could be the cause of this?
So I have a rooster, his name is George. Long story short he turned out to be a Cornish Rock when I was supposed to be getting a white leghorn, I regulate his food and he is doing very good roaming around on his own, he’s not lazy and only plops down to sleep! He was the sweetest little guy...
I’m on the fence about these two, Cookies & Cream. I think they are hens but I thought I’d see what everyone thought about them :)
p.s. Cream has the most white
I’ve been wondering about these three. The white one and blue/silver one are the Easter eggers and the brown and black is the americauna. Thanks
P.S I believe they are pullets but just wanted to make sure. They are semi aggressive
