    Moving with chickens

    So we have 5 hens and a large coop and run. We just bought some land 20 minutes away and will be moving everyone there. Any tips or anything on doing this? We think we are just going to build a temporary run for them to live in while we take down their coop and move it.

    So I have 4 11 week old Wyandotte’s. 1 appears to be a rooster. My 3 Easter Egger pullets are 6 weeks old and too big for the baby coop I use as a brooder. so my husband made a tiny chicken tractor to put in our run to start introductions!     5 weeks age difference in chicks

    So I have some(4) 8 week old Wyandottes that are in the coop/run already. I also have (3) 3 week old Easter Eggers in the brooder. Any recommendations or ideas for introducing? Everything I read is about chicks to older hens!

    So my chicks are 2 weeks old now and 4 of my 5 have the beginnings of a rose comb. But 1 I noticed today seems to growing a single comb. Does this just happen sometimes? She is smaller then the others as well. I got them from TSC.
