    Some of my new hatchlings have their eyes closed...any ideas? I've never seen this before. Other than their eyes closed, they appear perfectly healthy.

    Sent my incubator & eggs to 3rd grade, had one little black chick hatch overnight, looks like the rest of the eggs started to make, but no babies I couldn't stand the wait, so I bought another 'bator for home & put some more eggs in a week later...I have a Serama pipping already! It's early!

    Baby chicks got wet & trampled, feathers are stuck

    Baby chicks got trampled by baby ducks & wet. Their feathers have dried hard & look horrible. Any suggestions for getting the "hard" out of their feathers? It's like putting your hand in a bucket of mud, then letting it dry.
