My EE has gone brood on me. I don't want anymore chickens and having her hatch one would make me want to keep it. Besides she hasn't laid in over a week and I like getting my 3 eggs a day (3 chickens = 3 eggs).
I have heard some suggestions reading through the forums of how to break a brood...
So I got my first 2 eggs this morning - yay! BUT.... they were both white. When we purchased the chicks we were told we had a Rhode Island White, a Red Sexlink and a EE.
My supposive Rhode Island White looks nothing like the pictures here in the breed section. And it is my understanding that...
