I’m still having troubles deciding genders on these three. Their behaviors make me second guess.
I’m fairly certain our black frizzle is male due to the white feathering on his neck, however not crowing and has never gotten in a scuffle with my confirmed rooster, and they almost seem to always...
Wondering if anyone has any insight for the segregation and aggression that is taking place in my flock. And towards one pullet specifically(Bean-sizzle). 8 chickens, all roughly 15-16 weeks old, and all have been together since they were about 1 week. 1 frizzle, 3 sizzle, two silkie show girls...

Need help if anyone has a confident determination on these two Showgirl chicks. Both about 15weeks old. They both appear to have the same size and color comb(besides Kenny’s comb stayed a bump and Dolly's comb appears to be a small v comb) and tiny tiny waddles, but their feathering is...
I have 8 chickens in my flock, all about 15 weeks weeks old. We have been trying to determine who is boy who is girl, and I think 3 of 8 may be roosters. I plan to go down to one rooster, but am having a hard time deciding who to keep who to rehome. I would love to keep my black rooster, but I...
Am fairly certain our “Sabrina” is a Sebastian, but would like to hear some other thoughts before rehoming. No crowing, but was caught today pulling feathers out of one of my pullets backs. (Also first out of the coop in the mornings if that means anything). Just recently starting showing off...
My entire flock of 8 is about 14 weeks old. I only have 1 confirmed rooster (check my post on the gender and breed board to help me sex my flock!). All 8 chicks have grown up together with no problems and I do not see many fights or problems take place during the day. However, I’ve noticed a lot...
There has been some bullying taking place in my flock and I’m wondering if I have more roosters than thought. So now I’m conflicted on genders and am looking for opinions. All chicks are roughly 14 weeks old.
Kenny (Necked neck silkie)
Panini (Frizzle)
Schnitzel (only confirmed rooster...
I have 2 silkie showgirls, my suspected hen is not getting this, but I noticed today my suspected Roos skin just below his ears has turned white? Is this just dry skin, should I be concerned? He was not like this yesterday
All chicks are about 10-11 weeks old
Chick #1 Bean. Hoping is a hen and doesn’t have an cockerel tendencies(yet)
Chick #2 Chowder. Has been the smallest and slowest growing chick of the bunch.
Chick #3 Panini
Chick #4 Raisin
Both chicks are 2+ months in age, wondering what your guesses are!
Chick #1
Almost the same size of my other sizzle that is without a doubt a rooster. However, doesn’t have near as much comb growth and no waddle growth.
Chick #2
Has one little raised bump comb, but is not very large and no...
Any ideas on what this chick’s breeds may be a mix of? I got him/her with sizzle chicks, but does not appear to be a silkie mix like the others. Also any guesses on gender? 2+months old
Chick #1
Chick #2
They have pink colored combs, but no sign of waddle growth and no raise in their combs. 2+ months old, I know still pretty young but what are your guesses!
I’m just curious if the black spots on my showgirls legs and skin are normal? One chick began developing spotted legs, the other has big patches on his skin. Would this just be a mix of the Silkie black skin and typical chicken skin color, or is this a medical issue?
What are your thoughts, all a little over 2 months old.
Showgirl #1 has a smaller less red comb coming it
Showgirl #2 slightly bigger and pinker/redder comb
Silkie #1 has been the slowest grower, little to no comb
Silkie #2
Flat smaller comb
Silkie #3 has a raised fat comb under the...
What are your thoughts? All a little over 2 months old.
#1 I keep going back and forth on. But leaning towards pullet? Has a more v shaped comb and isn’t very raised
#2 Fairly certain is a rooster, stands like a rooster, and has a big ole brain comb coming in, the leader of the pack for sure...
Frizzle #1 (can anyone tell me what breed this is a frizzle of? Also no idea for this one’s gender)
Showgirl #1 (pullet?)
Showgirl #2 (roo?)
Sizzle #1 (pullet?)
Sizzle #2 (Roo?)
Sizzle #3 (pullet?)
Silkie #1 (Roo?)
Silkie #2 (pullet?)
