I'm at a loss!
We got 8 chicks from the local feed store in May, got there too late in the day for R.I. Reds and Orpingtons, so were happy to take some Wyandottes and Americaunas, which were all that was left in a big bin.
They were all said to be females.

We have two roos almost 5 months old. They are buddies and roost together, seem to get along. Barely fight and it's not aggressive really. 9 pullets hang out with them. They have a large indoor pen in a barn and can roam out in a large run. We also free range them daily.

My (2) roos and all girls are 3 1/2 months. The roos seem to pay attention only to the 5 Guinea, running with and around them as if herding. The Guinea in turn follow them everywhere and make a racket if separated. They pester the pullets if they come too close.
