    We had a surprise today... When my kids went out to put our 10 Blue Swedish ducks and 2 Buff geese in for the night they found a small female (we think) mallard. She isn't afraid of humans, so I don't think she's wild. She flew over our fence (scared the heck out of our flightless flock)...

    first bathtime!

    Our 10 Blue Swedish ducklings having their first bath at 6 days old. They LOVED the water first time in. Not one of them was afraid or tried to get out. They splashed and dunked themselves having a great time. Now they are all dry and look so much cleaner and VERY fluffy! LOL Too darn cute!!
