I found a hen after she disappeared for a couple days stuck behind a stack of drawers in a shed. When I set her down she staggered around , almost drunk like. She had some explosive poo right after that. I got her to eat and drink. I'm hoping this is just due to being confined unable to move...
I have a 3 day old chicken with spradle leg. It only affects one leg. I've had it in a braces since it hatched. It hasn't really improved. The chick actually got around ok when I removed the brace . It held the splayed leg up a just hopped around on a foot. I'm wondering if it doesn't improve...
I have oredered some poults from Cackle that should be here in May. I've got royal palms, burbon reds, and nassaragansetts (sorry if I spelt that wrong). Some will be for eating some will be for breeding. How high of fences should I plan on building and how large of area for when they are adults.
I have a pair of what I think is BBB. I really wanted to just let them hang around, but it's becoming aparent they're going to flop over dead due to be fat. What I'm wondering is if they are too old to butcher. They are about ten months old. I'ld put the tom at about 30 or 40 pounds....Also is...

I've noticed some of my young hens have developed little wattles and their faces are getting redder. I know that none of these are roosters. Any ideas?
My turkeys are currently 10-11 weeks old. They are very gentle and curious. They aren't overly freindly and don't like being picked up, but will put up with a little bit of petting. Really my question is when do turkeys start showing aggression.
