    Egg Eater

One of my 2yrld red sex links has started eating eggs in the nest box. Seems she only bothers her own eggs though. They're lighter in color from the others with thinner shells. They have access to oyster shells so im not sure why her shells are thin, but the bigger question is how to stop her...

    Sick Chicken

I just found one of my Chickens under a tree by herself. Her mouth is gaped open & it sounds like she trying to cough or something. Her waddle is almost purple. No clue what to do for her. Please help. Thanks.

    Sick Chcken????

I found my Barred Rock lying in the bottom of my coop in the pine chips. She's got some stuff, not really sure what, on her tailfeathers and around the vent. I have two red sex links that are laying in the boxes & arn't eating the eggs. The other two havn't started laying yet. What can I do to break the...

    Adding a rooster

A friend of mine has to get rid of his rooster & asked if I'd take him. Said he's pretty friendly & just has to get rid of him due to the crowing in his neighborhood. I currently have 5 hens that are 14 weeks old. The rooster is an easter egger and is the same age as my hens. How is the best way...
