I used to have three chicks, but one of them (the black one which i named La-Dasha) would always pick on my roo and my blondie until they bled. since that one died, i thought that i wouldn't have this prob. anymore.... until i got two more chicks for the others for company. I have no idea what...
right now i have small chicks. but when they get to adults i want them to roam free in the yard. the problem is, our neighbors have cats. so i was wondering if the chickens can defend themselves.
also, they might be able to fly into other people's yards... and if they do, will they come back...
so i built a chicks a chicken coop. i put dirt, and fresh grass clippings for them to peck. but they always seem like they want to get out of their caged up area. is there any other way to keep them entertained?
