    Ahhhhh!!! Roaches!!!!!

20 Muleteam Borax. It is a old laundry booster. Sprinkle it in an area where pets and chickens can't get to it. The roaches/bugs will eat it and take it back to the nest on their feet. It dehydrates them. Just put it where your pets can't reach. Great for ants too.

I rescued chickens They have very little feathers on their backs.

    Ants in coop

Ants don't have a chance in my coop. Chickens eat them like they're candy! I also crumble dried herbs in the nest just in case. Never had a problem with them.

    Height of fence in run

Mine are 8 ft and without a cover or clipping wings the BR's can fly out. Probably have to put some sort of top on it. It's nice to be able to walk around inside it too.

    I need coop ideas...

I see no problem with using a shed if you aren't into building. It is much cheaper to build from scratch, but that doesn't work for everyone. Sounds like you have a nice big area for them to roam. My coop is 14x20 with separate pens and a 10x20 run on each side. I like to keep my breeds...
