Setting Hens 1st eggs Today Aug 30, Maybe they will hatch, Join Me!

This is my second hatch and my first hatch of my eggs. First were shipped and well...you know. I candled and it appears 7 of the nine sizzle eggs are good and both NH/BR mix are good. I left the other 2 just in case. I don't know alot about candling yet

Gonna lock down on Friday since I have a wedding to attend this weekend and will be out of town on Sat. Wishing you all a great hatch

I know im late to the party here but i set on the 30th 5 eggs. They will all be EE's since i have a mixed flock over a ameraucana roo. My lakenvelder went broodie and was sitting for a few days so im letting her hatch some. So far they all have development on them and she is doing a great job for a first timer, so far she is better than my silkie, but dont tell her that. LOL, I cant wait to see what the look like.

I candled yesterday and my 6 didn't make it. The PO was pretty rough on the box when I rec'd it. The air cells were destroyed, I did an egg-topsy on them, no development, nothing. The eggs was fertilized, had the bulls-eye, but no good.

I put mine into lockdown today; out of 18 eggs, 15 made it to the hatcher. The dog cleaned up the other three.

Woke up 2 another chick hatched, but it was dead, another egg is pipped, 3 more chirping

Just candled my eggs before putting them in lockdown and it looks like all 7 are gonna make it into lockdown! So glad I waited and didn't throw out that one egg I wasn't sure about

, now I just hope they all hatch!
