    I really do feel that she has taken motherhood to whole new levels. She really gets very concerned when they fly off. She has real trouble that they are so flighty! You can really hear her saying that the last brood were so much better behaved, (they were bantams). Jane

    Further to my earlier question about two broodies sharing chicks, absolutely no problem. They both, one Pekin and one White Silkie are really good mothers and share all duties. The chicks are Rhode Island Reds so the 'mothers' will get a surprise when they realise how big their 'offspring'...
