All I can say is that I have had no chicks die from no heat! I have raised around 150 birds from ducks to bantams under these, They give off a perfect amount of heat and day olds can run around the brooder still warm. Works amazingly!
This is the worst incubator I ever had! I had perfectly fine eggs and 1 out of 18 hatched, in my experience these incubators give a 20-40% hatch rate. I have had 3 different types of incubators and this is the worst I am sorry to say, spend a bit more money for a better incubator is all I can say
I have a rooster and he is the quietest bird ever!! He is nice to his girls and is very well behaves, he sometime jumps out of his block and I just pick him up and put him back in :)
I love my baby! They are the coolest ducks very comical to watch, they enjoy waddling in lines and don't need much room to swim. When you breed crested they have non-crested and crested ducklings but you can tell at day one!
These awesome little birds are the ultimate pets if they are handelded well, they are not the best layers but lay a cute white egg :) Great pets! Cross with a sussex for a Auto Sexing breed that makes the ultamite broody!
