I am looking for an East Indies drake that is show quality to add to our flock. I'm having a terrible time finding one that is show quality and not in Ohio. I can travel to Washington, Oregon, Northern CA and Idaho if needed. Any help is appreciated.

Just wondering how old a chicken has to be to be shown. Obviously they have to be old enough and all feathered in to LOOK like what breed they are, but to all you pros out there, what's the youngest you can show a pullet or cockerel?
I'm moving my birds from one place to another and I have built two hoop coops. In their old coop they had a nice big coop to go into every night and it had the sleeping roost and the nest boxes inside. In the hoop coop I plan to use milk crates for nest boxes, but I'm kind of drawing a blank as...
THANK YOU everyone!! They are doing great! I cooked up some egg yokes and gave plain water and then raced to the feed store. They are all set up now living the good life. You guys are the best!!

Thank you for your help!!
Thank you so much for the fast reply! I appreciate it more than you know.....What would you suggest to put down in the run to get it to dry up some? Sand, gravel?

I have about 22 chickens now. Much loved pets. There is a high probability that we could be moving from Washington State back to Wisconsin. I'd like to take 15 birds with me. How would one go about that? Can I put them 2 or 3 at a time into something along the line of rabbit transport...

So is she still a her or is she a she and if she's a she then why is she crowing?
Help! I'm not allowed to have Roosters.
If you got a grown adult hen is there any way to tell how old she really is? And is it 'normal' for an old bird to start laying eggs with no shell? I have all the extra oyster shells available to them and yet I have 1 chicken who is laying eggs with no shells. I'm not sure which one it is so...
