HELP!!! my chicken just ate my platinum nose ring...

well, I've taken all of the bedding out of her cage area so that I can sort through poop. I'm thinking if it doesn't come out today or tomorrow, it's dissection time. this is why having custom made jewelry is annoying. I cant even take it out myself without a tool! apparently chicken beak is...

    Greetings from sunny Ventura CA!

No actually I didn't. My friend has a dove named Rock Lobster, and I told her she needed to get another one and name it Private Idaho, or I was going to get a bird and name it that myself. I'm not even a huge B52's fan. I like them though, and the name makes me smile. Good chicken name...

how much space do i really need for a single bird?

I can't unfortunately. I have an HOA. We're not supposed to have poultry, so the only way that I can have a chicken is if she is one of my 2 household pets. I mostly work at home though, and I'm hoping that the diaper harness I ordered will work out so that she can have the run of the house...

I think my she might be a he. help?

I know, that's what sparked my concern. I'll try to get another one tomorrow during the day. It's too hard to photograph a fast moving bird head in the evening.

how much space do i really need for a single bird?

So I'm considering my coop options. I just have one chicken. Shes still inside now, and for a few more weeks. When she does move outside, she'll have full run of my small backyard. There is a 6 foot fence all the way around, so i'm confident she'll be safe out there. I was actually thinking of...

Hello! My boyfriend and I just bought our first house, I've been so excited to be able to get a chicken! I know most people say I shouldn't just get A single chicken, but I want to keep it as a house pet. So, I'm starting with one, and we'll see how it goes. meet Private Idaho...hoping...

I think my she might be a he. help?

hi! I've had this chicken for two weeks now, I believe shes about 4 weeks old now. I'm not positive though, a friend bought "it" for me as a gift. I was doing a bit of research last night on here, and I started to get worried that I'm seeing signs of roosterdom. It had very few feathers at 2...
