I've got a blue laced red wyandotte roo, and wyandotte hens that are silver laced, gold laced, and columbian. What kind of mixed bag of offspring can I expect? Will they resemble one or the other or will they be all mixed up?
I came home today and there was a peacock hanging out with my chickens and turkeys. He's not too skittish, we saw him fly way up in a pine tree to roost. I hope he stays.
can turkeys get the red mites that attack chickens at night? I just cleared up a problem with them in my chicken coop. My Turkeys don't roost in the coop, but they do roost in the barn where the coop is. I've checked the turkeys but haven't seen anything

I had a hen unexpectedly go broody on me today. I'd like her to hatch some eggs from my d'uccles, but they are in the fridge. I know eggs can be viable for up to 9 days but I don't know if the refridgerating ruins them for hatching
