Hello! I have a beautiful accidental rooster & I can't recall what breed is supposed to be! He has what I think is called a rose comb, though he's dirty right now from all the rain, his legs are white, beak & ears are white as well... Anyone have any ideas? Legs are muddy right now but...

Hello! I just received my chicks & 2 were from a list of "assorted rare breeds". It might be too early to tell but I'm hoping to maybe narrow them down! The list of possible chicks in this assortment is here...

I did- it was a lot easier than I thought & the instructions were helpful. I ordered a small window off eBay & I think it looks pretty good, especially for a first time!

I've been doing a research on the cross beak/ scissor beak deformity as I have 10 wk old EE that was normal until about 5 or 6 wks old & developed the condition. From what I've read, it sounds like her prognosis could be ok for a while, so long as she can eat & drink, which she seems very good...

Hello- I have 2 chicks about 4 weeks old- they've grown quite lethargic, puffing up their feathers & have watery eyes with bubbles in them. What could this be? Should I separate them? Is there anything I can do to help them?

Hello! My husband brought home what he was told was a Crested Polish chick- but the chick has black/blue skin, 5 toes, feathered legs & a dark beek. I'm thinking this is really a Silkie? [/IMG][/IMG]
