Hey all. For those of you that free range, how do you deter hawks? I had a coopers hawk take out a young bird yesterday. I didn't see the attack, but found the carcass. The hawk was seen again later in the day, with a friend. This morning one hawk returned, perching on the roof of the coop...

Anyone selling Silkies at the state fair? I'll be down there the 10th. I haven't been to the state fair since I was a little girl, so I don't really know what to expect. Are there LOTS of chickens for sale? Do they sell the whole week, or just a couple days? Thanks in advance!
