    Did she train the bird to walk at home? Easy to do with scratch. Do it at home enough, have some in their pocket for the show, then after the bird has walked give the bird a little scratch while the judge is busy with the next child.

    Thanks, I guess I'm in the market for a new stud bird. I'll check the earlobe but I don't remember seeing any. My cockerel numbers have really dropped. 1 with a flopped comb, 1 with a white primary, and this guy with his tail. Drat! Thanks though. Thats what I'm looking for.
