He was not vaccinated agains Marek's disease, just came from Rural King's chick days. He seems fine otherwise, so really just hoping its a strain/sprain.
Anything else I should watch out for?
5/8/15: My cockerel chick has a droopy wing. All day today he has been holding his wing down much lower than the other side. He is able to flap his wings and move it normally. I palpated the wing and do not feel anything obviously broken. If anything, the affected side seems a bit more "boney"...
This is our first little hatched silkie from our silkie flock. He/she is too stinking sweet! Can't wait to see what the final coloring and what this little one's gender is!
New to hatching.
One of the not yet hatched eggs got got a small crack in it from the other chicks that hatched bumping it. The membrane was torn just a tiny bit. The chick is 2 days behind the others- put in on the off chance we might be able to hatch it instead of waiting 3 weeks for others...

Two weeks ago, Ginger started limping. She was almost all the way better and back to walking normal when our flock was attacked by two dogs (Thursday). She has since been limping and it has become worse today. When she walks she drags her foot behind her. There are no outward signs of infection...
Anyone is southern Ohio looking for white silkies? I have several silkies that I believe are cockerels, and a few hens too, that need loving homes (where they won't be eaten, lol). I am charging only minimal fees to cover my cost of buying the chicks and some of the cost of feed. I was looking...
