Anyone want 3 laying hens? I have a FBCM, a wheaten ameraucana and a FBCM/wheaten ameraucana mix. The FBCM is 1 and the others are from this year and haven't been laying long. I would prefer for all 3 to go together. They are really attached to each other. Asking 20 each or 40 for all 3...- blujems

I a I agree if you had someone allergic to eggs it would be great. As long as it is all natural. I haven't come across that yet thank goodness. I might have had a different reaction if I had a family member that couldn't eat eggs. It just seems crazy to me to put so much money into it just...- blujems

We are finally getting 3 eggs!....My olive egger started laying.....It isn't as olive as I had hoped. Looks more like the marans egg....that may be my next wishlist with the monster's showgirl..... Thank you. I was very skeptical when I heard about it but it really worked to get them laying in the box and everyone quit sleeping in there so the box stays cleaner.- blujems

Silly not sure what your nest box is like, but when I had one not laying in the box, I put up curtains so it seemed more secluded and they layed in the box.- blujems

Hey guys, Thought I would put this up in case anyone was interested. It was one of our goat sheds, but would make a really nice coop if anyone was interested. there is a man sized door on both sides and smaller doors on 3 sides. can be modified for whatever you wanted on the inside...- blujems

Sorry for all the troubles everyone is having. Finding what you really want is hard. Someday I hope to raise the wheaten marans. Until then I will have my 3. Thanks everyone...She was so upset, but I told her once we get settled in the new house we will find a way to get some more. I had let them into the main coop with the big hens and they were getting along great so I didn't lock them back up last night. they were still sleeping on the floor and...- blujems

Well I went out to check on the chickens this morning and found that something had gotten in the coop and killed the silky and showgirl that the monster just got. I am guessing a cat or coon, but don't know. She will be so upset when she gets up.- blujems
