Hello, well max and hiccup are now 7 months old, they have grown so much. Hiccup squatted today when I went to stroke her, could this be a sign she is a she, and about to lay me an egg ?. Max is not squatting and as he/she is larger I'm thinking a may have a roo, although no roo like noises...
Just went to check on my 13 week old light. Brahmas and both have blood coming from their nose , not sure what has happened both food and water containers tipped over, not sure if they had a squabble or something scared them . Both seem fine and enjoyed some hand feed meal worms. Just wanted...
Update on my chicks, both getting very red faces ! Both standing really tall, sure one is making a deep roo-ish noise , stressing they may be both Roos . Will get some photos tomorrow think the names Max and Hiccup were appropriate :((
Hi did your chicks turn out to be pullets, I have 2 that are 14 weeks old and look like yours. Both in the last week have really red faces and I am worried they are Roos :( .
My chicks are now coming up for 13 weeks old. Any more ideas on gender ? I am so hoping they are two pullets but i think the bigger one is a roo :(. tail feathers look different. Any comments, ideas most welcome. They are such sweet chickens very tame.
