@ChickCrazed I agree the instructions weren't that clear on proper placement. We had to fiddle with it several times till we have our boy at a quiet level. It took two of us to do it. I had him restrained with a helper and took the feathers on his neck and lifted them up away from his...

That is great to hear that the collar is starting to work for some of you. . I'm happy to report that P-Diddy is doing Great with his collar still. He has gotten used to it and chases the girls around and does whatever roo's are suppose to do. He tries to crow, however it is just a very low...

@ Becky HENsen It doesn't sound like you are making it tight enough on your roo. What worked for me after trial and error was lifting up the neck feathers under the head and placing the collar lower on the neck almost to the crop. Then making it snug. I did have to get another person to help...

@ Becky HENsen Yes, you can leave it on 24x7. It has velcro strips and flexible webbing in between strips. One day I did take it off to give him a break for an hour. He has those new feathers coming in around his neck and I like to help scratch them for him. So after you get it tightened, I...

@ mightymax: I have GREAT NEWS!! I took the collar off and then put it back on and tried to place it further down the neck. I had to get help holding him while lifting some of the neck feathers up to tighten it as much as I could. He tried to run backwards off and on to try and get it off...

Well I have to update everyone that may be following this~ P-Diddy isn't getting better. I have tightened the collar as tight as possible now, I even tried putting it lower on his neck. I can't get any tighter and unfortunately P-Diddy was crowing quite loud this morning. Being that we...

Another update~ I tightened P-Diddy's collar last night, I made it snug enough for me to put my pinky tip underneath. He was a a good boy with tightening it, but he did the backing out walk off and on for over an hour. I watched him to make sure he was able to breath and do his chicken stuff...

Quick update I was able to put the collar on P-Diddy last night for the first time. He tried to back out of it for several minutes, he didn't flip out in a panic and continued to mingle and forage with the others. I took a video with my cell phone, but am unable to post it on here. * I...

I really don't want to rehome the little bugger. I feel it is worth a shot to try this no crow collar.. I'll have to keep you posted on...

**HELP** what breed is this Roo. I need to rehome him

Thank you!! I never thought to look at game roosters.. After seeing your comments I found several photos, and I do believe he is a hatchery game fowl.. His legs were yellow as a baby and he was white, then as he started changing into a calico feathering, his legs started turning greenish!! I...

Hi! I need some help on what possible breed this little boy is. He was suppose to be a girl when we bought chicks in April. Any ideas?? I am going to have to rehome him due to not being allowed to have roosters in our neighborhood. He is just beautiful and friendly with the other flock. In...

Anyone know what breed this is?

I tried to get a new updated photo of our baby chick that I have NO clue what breed it is. Any ideas? I thought Easter Egger at first. But it doesn't have puffy cheeks. It is about 2 weeks old in this picture.
