I got faverolles from Keesmom yrs back and they were the sweetest birds ever. I was actually offered over $100 for my bantam hen, I got from her, after a woman's 2 yr old carried her around for about a half an hour. I didn't take it. I have some LF again but that are not nearly as nice looking...
Hello everybody... I'm glad everyone survived this extra cold winter. Hopefully without too many problems.
I have an amazing skill of hatching cockerals. I have some bantam faverolles available if anyones interested. I have 2 blue and I am pretty sure one splash is getting his hackle feathers...
question for ya... were the chickens out with said rat before you found him? did your chickens possibly eat him? whenever I catch a fresh mouse I run it out to the coop for my chickens. they usually love them. first its a game of chase of course.
But I have purposely shot a deer w my bow even!!! Yes I found out that I can do a lot more w out him then w him. Took me lots of yrs to get confidence but now I do. For soo long I had someone telling what I couldn't do then someone supporting me telling me what I can do!!!
I have used Chittenango for about 16+ yrs love them. I have had sick dogs, one with bone cancer and one was epileptic for 4+. they cared about what I was going thru as well at what the dogs were dealing with. I had a cat hit buy a car and took it to the er on bridge street. They charged me $600...
I will never forget running in the house shouting to my now ex DH "get your gun there is a opossum eating Shirley!!!" My mom always said I should I always have a .22 handy on the farm because you never know when you are gonna need one. But my ex thought I would accidently shoot a horse... well...
Warning graphic....I will not tolerate opossum in my chicken coop. I found one, I tried stabbing w a pitch for a bunch of times, but it just played opossum so..... I put in a feed bag and bashed it against my brick barn wall then tossed him in my outdoor boiler.I lost my favorite chicken ever to...
Luvmychicks they are good size. One looks to be a Cayuga mix maybe and the other is gray w Indian runner we believe. They hatched at the school in June. I only see drake feather on the Cayuga one but mom thinks they are both drakes.
My car caught on fire Christmas day so I don't have a vehicle...
Sorry about that.
My mother has two large mixed ducks she will probably part w. She is in Kirkville.
The school hatched some mixed breeds we got from friends and some of moms call ducks. When she gave the ducklings back to her friend she messed some up and has the 2 big ones still
She is adorable! But I am 4 hrs away. Might be a little further than I wanted to travel. Thank you so much for the offer. I should mention I am east of Syracuse in Kirkville. A little closer would work best
