    my hutch is one of those half door half mesh ones...solid sides and roof but half wood door and the other half is mesh.. I open the door in the morning so she can if she chooses come out and eat drink and poop but when it gets dark i lock her in? is this okay? plus she has quite alot of shavings...

    Hey guys I have another 3 eggs in with the first so Fingers crossed it will work.I suppose its all about trying diffrent things to see what works best! I will keep posting and im going to candle the first egg in 3 days to see the progress.. Its all so new and exiting!

    hello I have the same problem with my big boy here he is a light sussex..huge lump just the same as your pics and rotting at the side of beak..Ive tryed cleaning but its bad. did you find out what it was? Im very worried but I dont know what to do?

    Me again..he is now walking..we have checked his legs no marks, he has one claw shorter than the others.. but i have noticed by his beak looks a bit scruffy? the other hens seem to be flooweing the young male and not the big boy any more..could he be up-set? please any advice would help at this...
