The poor little chick passed at 6 days old. I thought he was getting better, but the day before he refused to eat or drink...then the next day he was gone!! Not sure if I am going to try another hatch for a little while.

No these were my own Buff Orpington's Eggs. MY husband and I decided a few things will be different with our next hatch though. I think 3 or 4 died in lockdown, so I did something wrong there!!

Only 1 of the 8 hatched. And I think he has a broken leg! He walks really funny. Here's a video. His right leg is even popped out too. I took a video of him walking, but I can't upload it here for some reason. But He will hop on his left leg while the right one stays poked out.

I'm just wondering if I did something wrong. I mean were my temps off, humidity? I also made my own incubator so I'm just wondering if I just didn't do something right, or maybe I just SUCK at all of it! HAHA. I said I would be happy if just 1 hatched, but It's going to suck if only 1 does...

SOOOOOO ADORABLE!!!! I cant wait for mine to start hatching....hopefully soon. I have the incubator right next to my bed....my husband isn't going to be happy if I am up all night watching them! LOL

Awww...I LOVE hearing that everyone's are starting to hatch or done hatching. I have no pips or peeps yet, it is day 20 for me. I can see one egg kind wobble a little every now and then, so hopefully not long. :-)
