My last three eggs were exactly as you described...heavy to one side, chicke only filled 65% of egg and no movement... I finally broke down and crack them all open and they were not moving so my hatch is over for the next few days till my staggered bunch (5 amereaucauna or however you spell that) hatch or not. They were freebies from someone who couldn't fit anymore in their incubator. Wondering how they handled going thru a lockdown before their lockdown. Looks as if some are still moving so we will see.I woke up this morning, its day 21!![]()
However, no pips yet....so...I had to check them out. I looked and the first one I saw an internal pip (Thanks Christy by the way, I had no idea about an internal pip until you mentioned it, I believe. So I did some research, now I have one!)![]()
On another not, I can't see anything else in the other, all dark, completely, except the air part. Except one.......It looked as if it stopped delveloping a couple of days ago. There was a lot of light in there, no movement, I thought I saw some blod spots or something. So I did a float test and bad news.I opened it to make sure I wasn't stupid, I mean no movement I could see veins with big bursts in them, only 65-% of the egg was actually taken up by something, which by the way set very heavy to one side. Well enough said, here's a pic. RIP little guy! you would've been a good one!![]()

as you can tell from the sack, I think he was underdeveloped or died a couple days ago, I feel horrible!!
