Thanks folks! I need to waterproof it a little bit. I went out after a hard rain this evening and the ladies were a bit wet... I'm hoping some caulk will do the trick.
Here are my ladies. They're confined to the basement still as they're about 6 weeks old. I thought of moving them to the small coop in the garage. Do you fine folks think are they feathered enough for that?
I'm just getting started in the hobby and would like to hear some opinions on chick food brands. I figured I'd just use the Start & Grow Purina food since its readily available. Is there anything specific I should look for in a chick food? Also- what ratio of chick food to grit should I use...
