    Different clays will do different things for your soap. Research the clay you want to use ( <---- only because I can't remember the different properties off hand & I never use a lot in soaps ... usually as a different shade of swirl along with my UM & oxides.!)

    I've never used the Pop micas (or the Electric colors) only clays, oxides & ultra marines. Do they color the soap bubbles??

    I prefer to use coconut or palm kernel at 0% SF for a laundry pre-wash. (I don't use it to launder clothes, I prefer detergent.) Coconut or PK is my choice because of the high lauric fatty acid help lift off the dirt, grease and "farm matter".

    Finished my 2nd quilt. It is a piece quilt, each piece of the flower is about 1.5". It is appliqued on cotton with a flannel backing. It took me about a week to hand sew all the flowers and finish the baby blanket I am NOT a sewer, so this is a big deal for me ... have a 2nd sock to finish...
