Lockdown since Friday, still no hatching

2 have hatched so far, including the one with the first pip. I have several more pips, but don't know how many cause the 2 chicks keep rolling the other eggs.

Lockdown since Friday, still no hatching

I am hatching 24 pheasant eggs for a friend. Started out with 30, lost 6 to non-development. So today is day 23 which is the normal hatch day for pheasants. Yesterday morning I woke to one pip. By the end of yesterday there were 6 pips and no progress in the first pip. I went to bed. My humidity...

Mine had died the same way, but I don't think your humidity was too high, I was told that mine was too low!! Wonder if someone can shed some light on this?

Very cool! I wish I had the room for a cabinet, but I don't. I have all the supplies to build a coolerbator with a nice thick Omaha Steak cooler. My first hatch and this hatch were done in a LG as well. I didn't have a problem with temp and humidity during incubation but I I had trouble getting...

    I locked them down tonight!

4 of mine hatched total. I check the last 4 this morning and they were all dead before they internally pipped. So my hatch is officially over.

    I locked them down tonight!

My 3rd hatched but is still stuck in the bottom part of the shell. A 4th has a tiny little pip. I just candled the remaining 4 and none have pipped internally and none are moving...have a bad feeling about them :(

Pretty sure it got goop in its nostrils after it internally pipped, its head and beak were wet.

Diary & Notes ~ Air Cell Detatched SHIPPED Chicken Eggs for incubation and hatching

Ahh, what a wonderful morning, two hatched chicks and one more pip! Still 6 eggs after that...when the two that are hatched are all fluffed I will move them to the brooder and check the other 6 eggs quickly to see if they pipped internally.

If you have any egg cartons you can put them upright in there. That's how I incubate mine since I don't have a turner.
