What do you think caused it? Last hatch we had 3 that died the same way. Thats the first time we saw more then one that died that way.
Pretty sure it got goop in its nostrils after it internally pipped, its head and beak were wet.

Cute little buggers! I have a 3rd pipped but she has been working on it for 4 hours. Hope she makes it out! A 4th is either just pipped, or a chunk of shell from the others stuck to it, I can't tell yet.

Number 3 finely got out. No more pipping yet but I would swear i saw another egg move on it's own.
4 of mine hatched total. I check the last 4 this morning and they were all dead before they internally pipped. So my hatch is officially over.Still nothing more here.............anything more for you Jen?
This morning before work I quickly pulled my 3 peeps out of the incubator. Humidity was down to 50% before I opened it anyway. I put the peeps in a brooder and added a wet paper towel to the incubator. If nothing pips before tonight, it is probably over too. I will do an eggtopsy and see what I find out. Only 3 of 26 eggs! Pretty bad, but yet with the temp swings that that dang incubator went through, plus a power outage I am happy any of them made it. I have 22 more in another incubator that will lock down Easter Sunday. I hope they do a little better.
