I locked them down tonight!

I'm incubating first time and have the Little Giant as well. I have the turner. I'm at 15 days and getting advise on rather or not to take them out of turner but I have a question no one has been able to answer. Since they are in an upright position and I'm told to take them out of turner and lay them on wire rack that means I lay them on their side. Was also told to elevate the large end with the air cell and how do u elevate an egg?

If you have any egg cartons you can put them upright in there. That's how I incubate mine since I don't have a turner.

Take them out of the tuner. If you don't it will end up a gooey mess. Some people hatch in egg cartons. Personally, I don't. The hen doesn't use and egg carton. When you lay an egg on it's side, the large end naturally points higher than the pointed end.

Awesome, thanks for the pics!! Here are my two that have hatched so far. Still one other with a pip, and I just checked one egg that was dead, so i opened it and did a little eggtopsy...I hate that part...poor thing died after it internally pipped...

What do you think caused it? Last hatch we had 3 that died the same way. Thats the first time we saw more then one that died that way.
