    Looks like my chicks rectum is coming out

    Strange looking feces

    Anyone, Take a look at these pictures I have posted. They are pictures of chicken poop that I cleaned out of the chicken coop the other morning. Odd looking to me but maybe one of you out there in chicken world will recognize this image. I am really really hoping you won't say what I suspect.

    Whoa that was two fisher cat youngsters I (and my dog) chased out of my yard..

    First time I've ever been so close to them! One ran away in the woods the other climbed a tree and looked right down at me. I think it was actually chasing my neighbors cat, which she ran into my basement (or maybe had been there the whole time...not sure). My dog chased something bigger away...

    question on the size of my brooder/cage

    I have 6 chicks in a dog kennel, its size is 2'x3'x2' 3". I know it will be ok for now, but they are growing fast. Check my thinking. I plan to keep them in this cage for about 6 weeks I hope.     just bought 6 chicks last week

    I am new to raising chickens. So far the 3 Rhode Island Reds and 3 Sex Links are doing ok. I've looked at them so much that I don't see them getting bigger.
