My favorite type of dog is a great pyr. They are sweet and very good guard dogs. Unfortunately, my pure bred female great pyr was run over
by a car last October. I did keep one of her male pups, and he is just as sweet and gentle as she was.
I posted about my son's new chicks, I didn't get any responses either. I thought perhaps someone could answer at least one question. I posted her many years ago and always received a response. Maybe new group of people now. I don't know. I know vets cost a lot of money, and they are not...
Here is what my son (who has the hatching chicks) emailed me and asked that I ask the experts on this forum.......
We have a male buff orp rooster, five americauna hens, 2 buff orp broody hens. We have chicks hatching, but almost all have black markings. Would these be little males taking...
I would like to buy up to ten guineas. My friends sells them for $4.50 each, but she is out of them. I will pay
$6.00 each, but they must be in the Magnolia, Waller, Hockley area, as I can't travel far.

I'm sorry about your chicks.
Shipping companies should be aware that they are dealing with live chicks and should take precautions to see the chicks arrive safely....no matter what time of year.

Thank you. I'm sorry that you had this happen to you too. I'll get more turkeys, but it won't be the same. I know that I will love the new turkeys too, but the turkeys that were killed was my first ones, and that is something special to me.
Two huge pit bulls broke into my turkey pen that was made out of boards and wire. I had two girls and three boys. Now, I have only one girl who was in a pen closer to the house. The pit bulls pulled the wire away from the boards that the wire was attached to....no easy feat .......they...
We have moved the male to different quarters, and she is back to sitting on her eggs. There for awhile she wasn't sitting on them, but after we moved him, she back to her nest.
