This is our brooder. When they can fly, the screen mesh on the pic below fits the top. Right now they are out scratching around since I just cleaned the brooder.
Thanks, this helps. I only have 6 and they are in a 110 gallon plastic stock tank. I may give it another week inside. My house is starting to smell a bit barn like. I think I may need to change their pellet bedding in the meantime.

Well, I just looked at our by laws, covenants and restrictions, it does not say that we have any restrictions as far as animals. So I am assuming this would mean that it is ok? I would only be looking at doing 2-3 hens a SMALL coop. I can always see how it goes and relocate them to my family...
