Crack open a dead chicks egg (if you think you'd be okay doing so). The chick should have it's beak tucked under the right wing. If it is not, that's a sign of malformation, which is caused by something going wrong in the heat, humidity, or turning durring the incubation process
I don't understand why people like rap, pop, and hip hop so much. I'm 16 and all I listen to is Train, Poison, Alice Cooper, Barenaked Ladies...well, you get the idea. I also really like the older country (even bluegrass)
Did you say that hen is a Partridge Rock????? This is so exciting! I just purchased 2 dozen Partridge Rock hatching eggs, even though I've never really gotten a good look at a Partridge Rock. I'm not crazy....I'm addicted!
Since yall are in the mood, does anyone know what breed this hen is? I bought her at my local livestock auction. She came with 7 chicks that she hatched out (all of them were OEGBs). I'm thinking she's either a Nankin, Black Tail Buff Jap, or a mix. What do yall think? Any idea would be greatly...
I'm not too good at identifying chicks, but here's my guess for the first two:
I think the first one might be a Silver Duckwing OEG
And the second might be a Golden Sebright
