You might want to try clematis there as that likes shady feet and it grows up and has pretty flowers. I have 2 growing on my pergola with grapes.

Thanks to all you let me know that the red faced one is a roo, but I have 2 of those ! The rest of them don't have any red. Will the 2 of them fight? One is larger then the other and he seems to be the leader. Hoping with 10 hens the 2 will get along!
